No money changes hands at this annual exhibition; rather, each artist names his or her “price” (barter rate of exchange) on the tag. This has ranged in the past from studio space to dental work. Says curator Antonio Puri, “This system will not only inspire people to trade with artists, musicians, writers, dancers, and other creative minds, it will also make society less judgmental about valuing different services.”
