Keep Phoenix New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
The empty lots in Phoenix could use a little face-lift, and Roosevelt Row CDC has just the scalpel, er, solution.
Adaptive Reuse of Temporary Space (A.R.T.S.) is a revitalization and activation program that hopes to turn the many vacant lots into temporary arts markets, community gardens, cultural fairs, public arts projects, and more.
But before RoRow can get started, they’re going to need some help tidying up.
This Saturday, they’ll bring (much needed) tools, gloves, water and snacks – you just have to bring yourself and some comfortable clothing.
For more information, check out the A.R.T.S. event and the Roosevelt Row pages.
