Casa Gilardi by Jana Peterson
I have to admit, that last blog took a lot out of me.
So instead of droning on about complicated matters, I’m going to keep this one short and sweet.
Chandler Center for the Arts has a new show opening today by painter Jana Peterson. I have to say, after reading about Peterson, she just might be a little bit artier than Arty Girl.
When news happens, Phoenix New Times is there —
Your support strengthens our coverage.
We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
Peterson has degrees in interior design, dance and art education. She tackles a bunch of different art styles including architecture, abstract, landscape, trompe l’oeil…etc. And she’s snagged some pretty good clients: IBM, GTE, Motorola, VLSI, Mayo and more. Oh, and she’s a flamenco dancer on her downtime.
You’ll see a collection of her contemporary works at the artist reception tonight from 7 p.m.-9 p.m.
There. Done. Short enough for ya?
