You know I love art if I’m willing to blog about it from California, on the morn of a trip to Disneyland.
God bless laptops and wireless internet, eh?
And you’ll be relieved to know that this blog won’t require you to rush out tonight or change plans for your weekend. No, this time, I’m giving you weeks advance time to get your mess together.
And with good reason…this event calls for some serious physical training. It’s the annual Night Run for the Arts, benefiting youth education and outreach programs at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.
Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $17,250 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
As you can imagine, there are all kinds of details involved with something like this. You can sign up for three miles or eight miles, you can run alone or with a group…there are a ton of options that you can explore here, on the event’s website.
So if you like to run, may as well do it for a good cause.
And then tell me what a great event it was…hey, I’m a hiker, not a runner.
SRP’s Night Run for the Arts kicks off on Saturday, May 2nd with all proceeds benefiting Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Visit the website or call 480-948-4436 to register.
