Per the Mozart-loving geeks over at KBAQ, the high-falutin’ genre of classical music stretches way back to 1200 A.D. (or even earlier) and encompasses an expansive history of more than 10 centuries of work. Suffice it to say, music professor Phillip Simon is gonna have to learn some brevity if he hopes to summarize the whole of classical music in one sitting.

Such is the plot of this comedic one-act Lunchtime Theatre production, as the aforementioned protagonist is asked by the Grecian muse Euterpe to accomplish said feat. Hence, Simon’s hour-long whiz-bang trip through classical music history, which includes plenty of Bach, Beethoven, Hayden, and many other important composers.
