When the paintball craze first hit critical mass, it seemed like the Hula-Hoop of sports. Fun? Yeah. Doomed? Hell, yeah.
Today, paintball’s about as far from obsolescence as a doomed craze can get. Just last year, a group of East Valley investors sank a boatload of dough into a new, state-of-the-art indoor p-ball nirvana named Ballers Arena. The resultant joint features a 16,000-square-foot synthetic-turf playing field with full staging area, an arcade, party rooms, even a pro shop.
Give yourself a rockin’ Dad’s Day present by shooting the old geezer with a C02 cartridge at Ballers’ Father’s Day Paintball Party. Pop gets in free and also receives a nice price on the BBQ Brunch.
