They say it takes 21 days to break a habit. Well, that just seems like too much for us to bear, especially when local artist Tara Logsdon and DIE bearmy are offering an exhibit to eradicate unbearable tendencies from the viewers’ lives. “BEARial Ground” opens at Frontal Lobe Community Space and Gallery, 1301 Grand Avenue, on Friday, February 6, and aims to help guests “kill outdated practices and tune into higher ideals” all with the help of Logsdon’s teddy bear motif. This exhibition is meant to be more than just entering a room, looking at some pretty art, and continuing on with life.

Through crucifixion symbolism, “BEARial Ground” looks to create a space where viewers can self-reflect and leave the exhibit feeling new. See for yourself from 7 to 11 p.m. on First Friday and through Friday, February 20. Admission is free. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/pages/Bearmy/249932871689249.
