Remember how much mileage pop culture got from Riverdance in the 1990s? We admit we loved that Irish dancing phenomenon when we first watched it on PBS. But you know what we loved even more? Mike Myers’ parody of the stiff-armed step dancing when he hosted the 1997 MTV Movie Awards. Hilarious.

So what’s next? We’re looking to the Bellydance Superstars dance troupe that will bring Bombay Bellywood to town. The internationally acclaimed troupe has toured the world for six years and combines traditional Indian dance with contemporary moves and fantastic costumes.

Enjoy this thrilling performance before the mockery sets in and ruins it for us all.
