It’s been forever since arcades were staples of the shopping mall experience. One of the most beloved companies in video gaming is coming to town to give a blast from the past and a sneak peak at the future with the Play Nintendo Tour on Friday, July 25.
Nintendo’s popular portable system, the 2DS, has top billing on this tour with promised titles like Super Mario 3D Land, Yoshi’s New Island, and Pokemon X and Y readily available for playing. Video game icons Mario, Luigi, and Donkey Kong will be around for photo ops, while advanced Mario Kart players can test their speed demon prowess.
The Play Nintendo Tour powers up at Arrowhead Towne Center, 7700 West Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale through Sunday, July 27. Friday and Saturday hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., while Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free and more info is at www.arrowheadtownecenter.com.
