The versatile, minimalist sneakers have made their way from standard basketball footwear to punk rocker must-have over the past few decades. And they’re changed stylistically, too. Originally only available in black or white, the shoes now boast patterns, limited edition releases, and even celeb-created designs.
To get in on the action yourself (and avoid a potential DIY home disaster) hit up Utrecht Art Supplies’ Custom Chucks Workshop on Saturday, August 11. The store provides free use of art supplies with purchase of a pair.
