This summer, the Fifth Annual Brazilian Day Arizona Festival will celebrate the arts, culture, and history of South America’s largest country with at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.
Commemorating Brazil’s Independence Day, which is technically Sunday, September 7, the Brazilian Day Arizona Festival will give visitors a chance to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of Brazil.
This year’s entertainment lineup will feature over 60 different performances including capoeira, jiu jitsu, a samba queen contest, and Brazilian zouk.
Alongside the many eye-catching events schedule through the day, guests of the event can also peruse more than 20 vendors selling Brazilian-based knickknacks, sip Caipirinhas, and nosh on exotic fair.
