What’s an “Arizona Bud”? Hardly your home-state BFF, it’s what beer-drinkin’ folk in 1940s Arizona started calling A-1, the popular pilsner that began as a product of the Arizona Brewing Company until the company eventually fell on hard times. (Sadly, the brand vanished in 1985.)

Fellow swillers, it’s time to dust off that glass and toast a classic comeback.

Hosted by Phoenix-based photographer William LeGoullon and the Nimbus Brewing Company of Tucson, “A-1 Country” will feature a free tasting of the newly released classic brew Arizonans once called their own. Works by LeGoullon that showcase the brand’s history will be on display as live music plays.

Celebrate A-1’s “western way to say welcome!” during this historic Arizona beer-tasting event and photography exhibition.
