Choices, choices… what with the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Super Bowl, and Brewers Bowl all vying for attention; only the inaugural Brewers Bowl isn’t a spectator sport, but a participatory one with more than one dozen Arizona craft breweries serving their tasty creations. Hosted by Bad Water Brewing, one winning brewery will hoist the keg-topped Beer Lombardi Trophy (or whatever it’s called). Food trucks and live music add to the festivities while proceeds help raise money for the Paradise Valley Emergency Food Bank.
Drink up from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, January 31, at 4216 North Brown Avenue, Scottsdale. Tickets are $25, and admission includes 20 beer tickets. VIP is $45 for 25 tickets and early entry. Visit www.brewersbowl.com.
