Will the real art enthusiasts please stand up? In other words, all you hipsters who use First Friday as an excuse to drink on the street, please remain seated and feel free to resume flat-ironing your hair.
Prepare to huff some serious paint fumes during the Seventh Letter Crew Pacific Art Collective show, a production that’s only showing here and in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. Headlining the big to-do are 13 internationally recognized artists from the Exchange and Seventh Letter crews, who will be creating collaborative murals as well as smaller pieces that will be sold or auctioned off. Alpha Monsters and House of Flying Paint will also be on hand hosting live-art demos, while a variety of musical acts, turntablists, and b-boys perform.
Sat., Aug. 25, 8 p.m.
