Never underestimate the human desire to see a little skin. For instance, this year’s edition of the yearly ASU Undie Run was in danger of not happening due to financial issues and budgetary shortfalls. Thanks to a slew of last-minute donations from folks interested in seeing half-naked college kids dash across campus, however, the annual outrageous event will take place — albeit in downsized form. And although there will be some shrinkage taking place (that is, at least in the amount of students participating), unclothed underclassmen and other Sun Devils will sport their unmentionables during the last day of spring semester classes.
Students will drop trou at the university’s Lot 59 parking structure, located near the corner of Rio Salado Parkway and Rural Road along South Packard Drive, before going on a two-mile sprint.
