If you’ve ever used the phrase “booty call,” you owe Bill Bellamy a dollar. The comedian coined the phrase while performing on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, finally giving late-night copulators all over the world a way to refer to that 2 a.m. text. In fact, you’ve probably said it a lot – why not just fork over another $21 and catch Bellamy at the Tempe Improv July 24? The comedian, now 49, hasn’t missed a step since that momentous day, appearing in several movies and TV shows, evening out the demographics on MTV as one of the network’s VJs, and producing three Showtime stand-up specials. Plus, he’s Shaquille O’Neal’s cousin. Just wanted to throw that out there.
