A Brief History of the Video Game Console:
More than 40 years of gaming history are crammed into this exhaustive site, which covers every single system that’s ever been released in America (from the Magnavox Odyssey to the PlayStation 3).

The Video Game Revolution:
Back in 2004, PBS aired this two-hour documentary covering the evolution and history of gaming culture. Thank to an anonymous Google Video uploader, it’s viewable for free.

Video Game Trivia Challenge:
The creators of this flash game must’ve been big fans of Who Wants to Be A Millionaire, as their quiz rips-off the same setup as the iconic game show, right down to the music. Two different quizzes are available to play, including one that tests your knowledge of video game music.

Wikia Gaming:
Practically every single game under the sun is included in this exhaustive Wiki.

Kotaku:
One of the web’s more popular and premier gaming sites that includes the latest news and reviews.

Joystick Division:
We’d be remiss for not mentioning the cats over at our sister blog, who cover all manner of game-related news, rumors, and gossip. They’ve got plenty of humorous lists, to boot.

Video Game Trivia takes place at 7 p.m. every third Thursday of the month at CADE Gallery, 722 North Fourth Street. More info is available here.
