For a third year, a section of the Arizona Canal will be filled with art, light, and of course water during Canal Convergence 2015. The four-day event features interactive pieces and installations along the canal between the Soleri and Marshall Way bridges near the Scottsdale Waterfront, 7135 East Camelback Road. On Friday, February 27, artists like Jen Lewin, Erin V. Sotak, and Toby Fraley will be showing their work from 5 to 10 p.m. Shop local vendors and listen to live music during the artisan market as well. But be sure not to miss Water Logged: Storytelling @ Canal Convergence from 7 to 9 p.m. with master wordsmiths Laurie Notaro, Kim Porter, Tania Katan, Michael Grady, and Tom Zoellner. While the rest of Canal Convergence is free to the public, admission to Water Logged is $9.50, and tickets can be purchased at tickets.scottsdaleperformingarts.org.
