Do we need to mention again that those theater productions of A Christmas Carol are officially played out? Evidently, we do.
But what if we started talking about a production about a disastrous production of the played-out holiday play? We suspect this may satisfy those who resent Tiny Tim for taking so long to limp across the stage.
Hit up Inspecting Carol by Desert Foothills Theater where you can watch a fictional theatre troupe slap together A Christmas Carol that’s more chaotic than the holiday itself with an unstable artistic director, a ridiculously mature “Tiny” Tim and an all-white ghost played by an all-black actor. It’s a recipe for disaster . . . just the way we like our holidays.
