Keep Phoenix New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Between this Saturday’s Pie Social, Twilight parties, and an arts parade you’re going to need some body fuel — and you’ll have to look no further than the Certified Local Fall Festival.
The seventh annual shebang invites local businesses, restaurants, and performers to showcase their goods and entertain a gaggle of local attendees (last year’s festival drew more than 6,000 people and 60 Local First business participants).
The event, organized by Local First AZ, is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Saturday at Duck and Decanter, 1651 East Camelback Road, and admission is free.
This year’s participants include All About Books & Comics, Bookmans Entertainment Exchange, Four Peaks Brewing Co, Frances, Practical Art on Central, Smeeks, Strawberry Hedgehog Bath & Body, and Zia Records, to name a few. See the full list on the Local First website.
Hint: Show up early; the first 500 attendees get goody bags.
