“Jews, booze, and schmooze” and “Heebs that want to hang” is how the Valley Jewish social set hypes Mazelpalooza, a holiday happening for the 21-and-over crowd that brings together singles and newcomers for a night of mix-a-rific mingling and merriment.

In its 13th year, the annual tradition hosted by Young Jewish Phoenix expects to see more than 700 people at this year’s event, which will feature a video DJ spinning Top 40 hits, drink specials, and a welcome alternative to all those other holiday parties. Hosted by Josh Simon and Marci Hersh, co-chairs of Mazelpalooza, proceeds from the event will benefit the Jewish Federation’s Annual Campaign for Jewish Needs.
