Unless you were dubbed the designated driver last night, there’s a good chance your New Year’s Day consists of a 20-count box of Alka-Seltzer tablets and a Snuggy. But as the old adage goes, there’s nothing like a 19th-century prostitute to liven up a still-hungover-from-Thursday Friday night. For that reason, HARLOT is the perfect title for partymonstress Jen Deveroux’s latest indulgence.

Local burlesque and cabaret troupe Scandalesque provides risqué, vaudevillian entertainment, including acrobats, contortionists, pyrotechnics, and more, to ensure that pleasure-seekers get their fix. And whether you prefer to stare or be stared at, the hedonistic tunes provided by DJs Tricky T and William Fucking Reed in the Midnight Room and Red Bar, respectively, are sure to drive your titillation level over the edge until you, too, become one of HARLOT’s many curiosities.

In a delightfully un-Scottsdale move, there’s no cover charge all night, and the bars will offer several drink specials, such as $5 martinis for the ladies, be they harlots or otherwise.
