Local digital and social media guru Clintus McGintus (nee Comer) keeps us abreast of the latest tech and geek meetups on his multi-media blog, clintus.me. And he does it with such flair and panache that no one can argue when he labels himself an “attention whore.”
McGintus, 28, covers a wide range of topics on his blog, with the dominant focus on digital media and videography, emerging tech, and local social media events. But the married father of two mixes up a more universally palatable brew by adding fun videos like “Bike Night at the Billet Bar” and his escapades at the annual South-By-Southwest festival in Austin.
His background in cinematography (credits include the 2006 horror yarn The Whistler and the weekly web television show “Screen Wars”) shows in his video blogs, which are high-quality compared to most of the stuff you’ll see on YouTube.
When he’s not blogging, socializing, or shooting videos around the Valley, self-styled “social puddle jumper” McGintus likes to read comics, drink tea, watch the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and enthuse about dirt bikes. We’re just content to enthuse on his musings.
