$10,000

We heart Phoenix, but sometimes bouncing from one familiar haunt to the next can feel a bit too much like a routine for our comfort. So it’s serendipitous that a new spot named Bhakti Gardens is opening for business this weekend. Owner Cindy Reshan has been cultivating her labor of love for a couple of years, and now she’s going big with some widely varied performances for the fun-loving and free-spirited. The grand opening shindig features Strange Family Circus and its well-traveled sideshow stylings, a reading by local author Jane Joyce, belly dancing by Coco Nour, funnyman musician Tom Tuerff, and reggae-infused rocking by The Overtones and Kindread.
