Keep Phoenix New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Bring, sell, buy, swap — all you need to participate in this weekend’s Bicycle Swap Meet is the need to take home (or leave behind) a few extra parts.
The event, held this year on Saturday, March 12, is hosted by the Coalition of Arizona Bicyclists (CAzB), a Phoenix-area-based education and advocacy group.
This weekend, the coalition plans to feature individuals as well as local cycle shops selling all sorts of goodies, ranging from full-on new/used bicycles that can be pedaled right off the lot to parts and other paraphernalia.
The five-hour event is pretty laid-back – registration isn’t required – so just show up with stuff to sell and/or cash to buy the stuff.
The scene is the back parking lot of Phoenix Municipal Stadium, 5999 East Van Buren Street. Enter into the blacktop-located swap meet, located at the southeast corner of 56th and Van Buren streets, from 56th Street.
Hours are 7 a.m. to noon. Admission is free for buyers and sellers. Go to www.cazbike.org.
