While your friends back East are giving the weather a big, fat, middle-fingered salute, you’re chillin’ in this wonderful AZ weather. And since you’re a nice guy and all, you’re thinking of all the ways to piss off your frosty pals even more. Here’s a good one: Tell them you’re participating in the Mountain Biking at Phoenix Mountains Preserve event. Then rub it in by saying you’ll be riding alongside a park ranger on an eight-mile in-and-back jaunt through the serene desert park. You might lose some pals, but, hey, you’ll get some exercise.
