This house was forever in the midst of the Roosevelt scene. Long boarded up, this house was always sort of mysterious and attractive to historic home lovers. Myself and photographer friend Charles Darr would make trips around town shooting and we ended up shooting this house on more than one occasion. The last visit we found that the house had had a fire, and soon after the lot was cleared. This house and the subsequent drawings and paintings are a reminder of how our urban environments can be so ephemeral.
