Advertising Can't Do It Alone
The challenges facing local news organizations are very real. That's why reader support matters more than ever. If you believe independent journalism matters, make a contribution today and help us reach our summer fundraising goal of $15,000 by August 9.
We had ourselves a little sneak peek preview of the “Converging
Trajectories: Crossing Borders, Building Bridges” show curated by Ted
Decker. Last night, media folks were invited to Modified Arts to get an
eyeful (or two … or five) of the whopping 41 artists’ works.
Participating painters, sculptors, photographers, and multi-media
creators span from Phoenix to Charlotte to Brazil.
We’re not gonna lie. It’s a lot to take in.
We suggest experiencing this show little by little and, therefore, will provide a few images to get you started (after the jump)…
The official opening takes place tonight (click here for the
details) and there will be a meet and greet with the artists event this
Saturday (click here for the details).
Stay tuned to Jackalope Ranch for a more in-depth review on “Converging Trajectories” next week.
