Keep Phoenix New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Every October the Phoenix Zoo, 455 North Galvin Partkway, hosts a week of spook-filled activities for kids (and adults who retain that youthful spirit) in the days leading up to Halloween. Boo! at the Zoo features the typical fall festival faves like straw mazes and pumpkin patches, but visitors also have the opportunity to watch a variety of zoo animals chomp and stop their way through carved and uncarved pumpkins in this annual celebration. This year’s roster of activities also includes a “click or treat” scavenger hunt that will lead visitors on a photo trail through the Zoo.
Boo! at the Zoo runs from Monday, October 20, through Sunday, October 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Activities are included with Zoo admission, which is $20 for adults and $14 for children over 3. Each day of the week is specially themed, so be sure to visit phoenixzoo.org or call 602-273-1341 for more information.
