Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
This should be fun. Combine a room full of impressionable young journalism minds, Alan J. Pakula’s still-thrilling 1976 take on Watergate, and an introduction by Leonard Downie Jr. (who followed the great Ben Bradlee as executive editor of The Washington Post), and you’ve got one Fourth Estate horn of plenty. The screening of the film — which stars Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman as gung-ho news hawks Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein — is open to the public.
