Errol Morris (A Brief History of Time, The Fog of War) directed the masterful 1988 documentary about the murder of a Dallas police officer in 1976. Morris’ filmic investigation led to the overturn of the conviction of one of the suspects in the crime. The score is by Philip Glass.
