If the weekly Scottsdale ArtWalk isn’t on your radar, you’ll want to mark April 12 in your calendar. For one night, the ArtWalk will showcase glasswork by artists from around the state.

Dubbed the Glass Act ArtWalk, the event is a result of collaboration between the Scottsdale Gallery Association and the City of Scottsdale. From 7 to 9 p.m., gallery doors will be open, artists will be chatting, and live glass art demonstrations by Arizona Glass Alliance members as well as Peggy Pettigrew Stewart, Laurie Nessel, and Kimberly Calvert, who can be found on both Main Street and Marshall Way.

The evening walk will be to the tune of live jazz by saxophonist Mary Petrich, and performances by The Blue Goats and Zarco and Carmen Guerrero.

Thu., April 12, 7 p.m., 2012
