The Washington State-born, New York City-based sculptural artist discusses his career (which includes his “earthworks,” “body-works,” and “machine pieces” series), his current work (which tends toward bright, architecturally whimsical pieces like Bus Home at the Pacific View Mall in Buenaventura, California, and Stage Set for a Film at the Expo Center in Portland, Oregon), and his latest piece (Garden of Evidence at the new Forensics Lab and District One Police Station at Scottsdale’s McKellips Service Center).
