As Sedaris told The Daily Show, “All the good [ouch!] hotels went non-smoking,” so, with typical Sedarisian logic, he moved to Japan for three months to ditch the coffin nails. (Hence the title of his latest collection of essays, When You Are Engulfed in Flames, from a safety pamphlet in his Hiroshima lodgings.)
