No, it’s not Reptar On Ice. First off, this is Arizona, and therefore there’s very little ice for dinosaurs to dance and sing on. Two, Reptar was on Rugrats ®C a kid’s show ®C and Repticon is for grownups. Snake- and lizard-obsessed grownups — but still.
This weekend promises the first-ever Phoenix Repticon, a celebration of all things reptilian. At this exotic animal expo, Southwest herpetology hobbyists can enjoy educational presentations and buy merch ®C and animals ®C from vendors offering a thousands of snakes, lizards, and all other manner of poisonous, cold-blooded things. It’ll be the greatest grouping of reptile enthusiasts the state has ever seen. No ice necessary.
