Any man will tell you: It’s all in the thrill of the chase.
That’s why we like the idea of the Skirt Chaser, a 5K run that’ll be held February 11 at Tempe Beach Park. Ladies get a three-minute head start in this racy run, followed by a “skirt chaser” start for those with a Y chromosome. If the guys catch the girls, we assume they win the right to the woman’s hand in marriage — just kidding. But they can hit up the block party that follows the event, where each racer gets two free beers from Four Peaks and the chance to let sweet love blossom.
