Will an electric automobile ever have the swinging ass of a Chevy Corvair, the steel curve of a ’69 Camaro, or four on the floor with suicide doors? Never.

Car-pe diem and get your fill of the classics when the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association presents the second annual Spring Nationals Car Show. The event features over 2,000 rejuvenated road-huggers — none built after 1972 –- with awards for best muscle cars, custom rods, trucks, builder’s choice, and more. Drivers will also put the pedal to the metal on the Goodguys Autocross course, testing the suspension of their gas-guzzling street buggies with dicey curves and quick turns.
