English poet Rudyard Kipling once said “East is East, West is West, and never the twain shall meet.” But that won’t be the case when Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar & Grill introduces the flavors of the Far East to a few pints of craft beer from the Pacific Northwest with its Deschutes Craft Beer Dinner.
The restaurant’s May beer pairing dinner will include a five-course menu featuring creative dishes paired with popular and rare brews. Evil Jungle Princess Chicken with fresh green beans, tender chicken, house veggies, and a tangy red-curry sauce will be paired with Deschutes’ limited release Hop Henge experiential IPA. Ling’s signature meatloaf will get a splash of chocolate from the brewery’s dark Black Butte Porter, and an Obsidian Stout cocktail finishes off the evening.
