Last year, Arizona was named the number one entrepreneurial state in the union by CNNMoney, via Kauffman Foundation’s Index of Entrepreneurial Activity. Unsurprisingly, it takes maximum hustle to bring life to the desert and if you’ve got it, you’ll feel at home at CO+HOOTS’ Biz Book Club Tuesday, August 6.
The monthly meeting of the minds in the downtown Phoenix coworking, tech, and startup hotspot is shepherded by Valley ghostwriter Joey Robert Parks. This month, the focus is on Brad Feld’s 2012 book Startup Communities: Building an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Your City. The door is open for big fans of the read, and the Biz Book Club even welcomes you if you’ve been too busy on your grind to read the book at all.
The CO+HOOTS Biz Book Club congregates at CO+HOOTS, 1027 East Washington Street in Phoenix, and the confabulation starts at 7 p.m. Admission is free. Visit www.cohoots.com or call 602-688-2825.
