In his newest series, FaceArtists, Andy Alcala uses a different kind of canvas — his own face.
The Iowa-based photographer posted his series of self portraits with homages to iconic paintings, from Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh and The Scream by Edvard Munch to Girl with Balloon by Banksy (pictured above).
