Jennifer Maria Harris is anti fear.
The San Francisco-based visual artist is collecting postcards, Post-its, and scraps of paper from around the country with a simple message: “Have No Fear.” She then turns the notes into magnets and mails batches to participants who stick them around the street and in galleries across the world.
The result, she writes, is Fear Not, a community-based art project that she hopes will address daily fear and hesitation, however big or small:
