At the tender age of 9, you accidentally wandered into a dark, secluded tent on the outskirts of an amusement park. There, you first laid eyes on a naked female, dancing amid flames, her grotesque fatty orbs pointing at you like the Devil’s trident. Fear overtook you and you ran, ran into the arms of God.
Now that you have a son of your own, you intend to instill the same morals in him by taking him to “Exotic Art Show 26” at Alwun House, 1204 East Roosevelt Street. The show – which showcases the work of more than 60 artists – debuts on Friday, February 13, with the Opening Phantasmagorical Cabaret, featuring the DHotKiss “fetish femme fatale bondage puppet show” from Puerto Rico, the Celebrity Drag Divas, the Provocatease burlesque dancers, body-painter extraordinaire Mark Greenawalt, and acid house by DJ David Diagonal.
The Almighty would not approve.
