Our friend’s young son asked if he could help blow up the balloons at the fourth annual Cave Creek Balloon Festival at Rancho Mañana Golf Club’s driving range. Well, we explained, it takes a lot of hot air to get the giant, colorful balloons – one of which is a bumblebee — airborne. But he could try the Rainbow Ryders’ tethered balloon rides, go wild in the kids’ zone, or groove to live music by Remedy, Easton Ash, Marley Taylor, and the James Parks Band.
