Be warned: The Valley’s nightlife landscape is overflowing with vile creatures desperately in search of prey. Visit any bar or club around town and you’ll likely witness them hanging about in the dark corners: Aging dudes sporting comb-overs or tatted-up brosephs adorned in shiny shirts and reeking of Axe.
Despicable nightcrawlers also lurk about inside Monsterland Bar & Grill but they’re more creepy than creeper, being crafted from foam and latex. Beastly beings like werewolves and demons make up the devilish décor at the Mesa nightspot. Most of them moved in when the joint opened as a haunted house last fall.
Since Halloween happens only once a year, Monsterland’s proprietors decided to convert the place into a horror-themed nightclub and restaurant, which will feature a ginormous dance floor, 20 different microbrews, a variety of live music, and themed dance nights throughout each month.
