Forget Yogi and Teddy Ruxpin. There’s a different kind of bear coming to town: a Modern Bear. This variety of fuzzy men is known for its love of modern design, all things retro, and fellow hunks of beefcake. (That’s not to say they don’t appreciate pic-a-nics or reading.) Modern Bear forerunners Travis Smith and Chris Bale are the rulers of this shave- and wax-free enclave, and on Friday, December 7, they’ll sign their book Guide for the Modern Bear.
