What drama! It’s that time of year again, where attention is focused on men in shiny, tight outfits who lunge and pirouette across the field of vision. No honey, it’s not the Super Bowl (although nothing against packing steel), but rather the Miss Gay Arizona USofA and Miss Gay Arizona USofA Classic, a double-crowning affair that’s team hosted by smoky-eyed Tajma Hall and acerbic beauty Barbara Seville.
New Times asked pageant promoter and BS West owner Mike Fornelli what qualities make a winner, and he says that they’re “open to advice.” We think tight lip-synching, smacking it up in a glittery evening gown, and keeping the wig glued on are important.
