The Arizona Cardinals started the season with a four-game winning streak that left fans hoping for an improbable playoff run. The Cardinals followed that up with an even longer losing streak that left fans hoping a good quarterback would be available in the draft. The inflection point between these two streaks was a 17-3 loss to the St. Louis Rams. It would be absurd to say that the Cardinals were somehow psychologically crippled by the loss. Still, it’s hard to deny that the Cards just haven’t seemed like the same team after being crushed on national television.
The Cardinals will get a shot at revenge when the Rams visit University of Phoenix Stadium,1 Cardinals Drive, on Sunday, November 25. A win could help the Cardinals regain some of their mojo and, more importantly, keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
