Downtown Phoenix on weekdays is inconvenient for you, and you’ve never experienced the Herberger’s Lunch Time Theater program. The end of your torture’s in sight: Most Lunch Time shows present an evening preview.

D’Amore Productions’ Wonderful, Wicked, Wacky Women stars Dolores D’Amore Goldsmith, who’s delighted audiences with productions like Why Is My Glass Half Empty, When My Plate Is Too Full? Goldsmith tells women’s true stories in an uplifting fashion, and her own encounters, along with tales of historical chicks, make for an artisanal salad of entertainment.

Tickets are $3 to the 7 p.m. performance Monday, June 3, on the Kax Stage at Herberger Theater Center, 222 East Monroe Street. Admission is free for actors who bring headshots and resumes. (Yes, you might meet an actor. They usually don’t bite.) For more details, including tickets, showtimes, and lunch options for the remaining daytime performances through Thursday, June 13, visit www.herbergertheater.org/lunch_time_theater or call 602-252-8497.

Mon., June 3, 7 p.m.; Tuesdays-Thursdays, 12:10 p.m. Starts: June 3. Continues through June 13, 2013
