Famous Sam’s new Sumo Wrestling and Gong Karaoke affair makes Saturday nights all right for fighting again. After all, what better way for friends and co-workers to blow off steam than by donning inflatable sumo suits and wiping the mat with each other’s behinds before downing Gekkeikan sake bombers? Winning warriors receive “Beware of My Sumo Skills” shirts. But if giving your best friend a mawashi diaper wedgie isn’t your idea of a good time, there’s always Gong Karaoke. For $1, listeners can give the boot, er, gong to any nausea-inducing crooners, but offending vocalists can pay a second buck to remain onstage.
