$10,000

So, it’s been a dream of yours to fly to Paris and see the grave of Jim Morrison at the famed Pere Lachaise cemetery since 14-year-old you hung that Forever 27 poster on your wall. What’s holding you back? Oh, that’s right. The Euro continues to kick the American dollar’s measly butt. (Today, a good old greenback is worth 77 Euro cents. Pathetic. Bye-bye, Paris.)

However, you can head to the Midnight Room at the Mondrian Scottsdale Resort to catch a re-creation of the whole scene, sans corpses, when the weekly Pere Lachaise party goes off. The darkened club, complete with drapery, gothic décor, and stunning architecture, provides the perfect creepy backdrop as you mingle with actors, musicians, and other scenesters while sipping Absinthe and boutique champagnes. There’s also a touch of European funkiness, with DJs spinning an eclectic mix of salsa, heavy house, dance, and hip-hop.
